I Have Seen Hell, and it is Working in Retail

Tale 0: Introduction

     Okay, before I start, here's a little introduction. Around the middle of November 2002, I started working in the wonderful world of retail. I began my job as a cashier at a drug/food store similar to Walgreens or CVS. Or, if you've heard of them, it's like a Marcs. Working here, I've come to realize that people are much dumber than I previously thought. Also, Northeast Ohio is the capital of West Virginia. And if any West Virginians are offended by that comment, then dammit, make the rest of West Virginia smarter.
